Tango,
Maybe to some readers it may be dry math, but personally I want to know what the thresholds are, I would like to see what exactly is a high leverage situation etc...
Also, I would also like to reiterate, that this would be infinitely more valuable if their was some way of making this printer friendly for those of us using black and white.
Thanks!

I found this book to be a mixed bag.
The structure was unusual where, they would talk about the select teams for a few chapters then go off on a tangent. Player Agging Patterns, Relief Pitcher Usage, Career Projections ect...
I thought the tangent chapters were far better than the main course, and while the teams they selected to profile left a lot to be desired. With many of the teams profiled all ready having a lot written about them.

This is actualy a really important thread to read. If people are intrested in this sort of thing and haven't please do. I think it is clearly the best stuff tango has done, an increadibly educational. In fact this was the first thread that I really "got" how powerful linear weights are since you can custimize them for any context.

After reading that article I had two thoughts... regression to the mean, and check MVP award winners, because I bet this isn't a sophomore specific event.
Curses, once again beaten to the punch!
